Caltuck is Boulder Housing Partners’ provider for installing and maintaining the wireless infrastructure at many of BHP’s properties. Caltuck’s owner, David Kennedy, has gone above and beyond to help us maintain our wireless system – even at properties where the installation was done by another company. For a small business to support hardware that they did not install can be difficult for even the most experienced technical wizard. Caltuck is an amazing company to work with and an all-star in the eyes of BHP.

Caltuck was hired to fix our existing communication system in Durango, Colorado. We had doubts that it could be done reliably because other companies had tried before and the distances between some of the sites reached over 20 miles. David and his team designed and implemented and a new wireless communication system, successfully connecting 11 sites with redundant links to ensure the maximum amount of uptime. Over the last seven years, Red Cedar has not lost contact with any of our sites due to the wireless network. We have a maintenance contract with Caltuck to perform biannual maintenance to keep our network in working order. They are quick to diagnose and fix issues and have always been available when we need them.

Recently our nonprofits that has 40 apartments hired Caltuck to install a security system. We had 18 cameras installed both inside and outside. The system is fantastic. I am writing to inform you of our experience with Clayton Groff and the installation of our ruckus. At the beginning of the year 2017, we began having trouble with our router, it simply did not work. As a coffee shop, especially a small independent business, it is vital to our success to have working internet. After calling countless IT companies as well as having Comcast come out multiple times, we were without a solution to our problem, we were at our breaking point. The effectiveness of our internet directly effects our sales. Sales began to decline within 24 hours of our problem and continued for several weeks. We were referred to Caltuck from one of our customers. Clayton was sent out and immediately got to work trouble-shooting the problem. He was very professional and a extremely patient as none of us knew how to articulate what the problem was. Inevitably, Mr. Groff was able to fix our flailing internet and router problem and assured us that he would be available if we had any other issues arise with the new router. The time and care he provided us, along with the very powerful router he installed has been paramount to our day to day lives’ running smoothly.
