The Building Sensor is the computer. WaterBug is a module that plugs into that computer and watches for water on the floor, pump operation, and float-switch activation. It does not work by itself.
The box on the wall is the computer. It has the screen and the cloud connection. Every module is a child of that computer and plugs into the same jack.
WaterBug plugs into the bottom jack and watches water-related events: water on the floor, a pump that turns on, or a float that rises.
Know when there is water, when response equipment activates, and when the Building Sensor itself goes offline.
Ideal for basements, cellars, elevator control rooms, elevator pits, sprinkler control rooms, mechanical rooms, pump rooms, and other unattended or high-risk areas.
Install the Building Sensor on the wall. That is the computer. It already does temp, humidity, and cloud alerts.
The module clicks into the bottom jack. Place detectors where water hits first: floors, pits, sumps, and pump rooms.
When water is detected, a float activates, or a pump turns on, designated people get email or text so they can respond in time.
